KYLE — At its March 19 meeting, Kyle City Council approved an ordinance to amend the city’s Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget to allow council members access to the health insurance program.

Discussions continue to circulate around the potential multipurpose community center in Kyle, following Assistant City Manager Jesse Elizondo providing a report to the city council at a special meeting on Saturday, March 16.

DRIPPING SPRING — The Dripping Springs Tigers boys soccer team hosted the Austin High School Maroons on Friday, March 22, where the Tigers finished their season with a record of 5-9-2 for sixth place after a final score of 1-1. The Tigers were playing to determine if they would make it to Bi-District playoffs.

On Saturday, March 23, the Dripping Springs Tigers boys and girls track teams traveled to Seguin High School to participate in the Matador Relays 2024.

The Wimberley Lady Texans soccer team’s final home game of the regular season on March 19 was a bitter 2-0 loss to Boerne, but both teams are likely to meet in the third round of the playoffs and the loss is all the incentive the Lady Texans need to get there.
