Negative COVID-19 test results spike
Those who track local COVID-19 statistics noticed a big spike in the number of negative tests reported in recent days. That reflects the release of a backlog in the Department of State Health Services’ electronic reporting system.
One new confirmed cases was added to Hays County’s total on April 24, bringing that total to 148. Meanwhile, 1,478 people have tested negative and test results on 11 people were pending.
