Beatrice Lynn Robinson (1961-2011)

Beatrice Lynn Robinson (“B”), 50, resident of Kyle, born on June 14, 1961, passed away on June 14, 2011, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels. She was born in Lake Charles, LA and left us on her 50th birthday.

She met her best friend, fiance, caregiver in late February, 2004. Survived by sisters Barbara Johnson (Keith) of DeRidder, LA, Joanne LeBleu (Ron) of Lake Charles, LA, and brothers Jess Materne (Judy) of Seaside, CA, Wallace Materne (Laura) of Copperas Cove, TX, and Jonathan Materne of Colorado. She also left behind many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by parents Jess and Mary Jo Robinson and sisters Phyllis Materne and Heather Materne.

She remained in Lake Charles, Louisiana until the late 1990s. She moved around a bit until she finally settled down in Kyle. She was a resident of Kyle for almost four years. Lynn loved life, family, friends and animals. Her whole life was tale after tale of funny animal stories. She worked at Petsmart as a dog groomer for the past 11 years and loved every second of it. She would quickly become a mother figure and teacher for her fellow associates. Lynn also suffered from cirrhosis of the liver which she battled bravely for 10 years and it ultimately overcame her. She worked the whole time no matter how she was feeling and loved every single dog she would groom. No matter how bad they were, they were her puppies. She left behind her boyfriend, fiance and prince, Jeffrey Consford. She also left behind her five dogs and two cats, whom she loved and cherished. She was a starlight in the darkness and would shine through to let those for whom she cared find their way. “Oh Starlight...You’ll never shine alone...and there’s one thing that won’t change. I believe there is something within each of us that always stays, that will always remain, as long as LOVE NEVER fades.” Lynn, we will never forget and our LOVE for you will never fade.

Services were held June 24 at Southern Hills Church of Christ in Buda.
