It’s past time to do more for our kids
When I was elected to the Wimberley ISD Board of Trustees in 2018, I did so with the aim of helping to provide the optimal learning environment for Wimberley students. I knew there would be a series of “asks” that I would have to make as I joined the board. I’d have to ask myself for a time and energy commitment to serve. My fellow trustees and I would have to ask each other for a strong level of trust and dedication. I would have to ask our superintendent for an amount of accountability required to guide our district.

Lady Tiger Softball on a roll after losing three in a row
The threegame District 26 skid for the Dripping Springs High School varsity softball team began March 11 in a 3-2 loss on the road to Westlake, then on March 12 in an at-home 6-3 loss to Lake Travis and, what one might say was an unexpected 2-0 shutout on March 19 at Del Valle. The Lady Tigers had obviously put the losses in the rearview mirror when they hosted Anderson and won on a run-rule 13-0 shutout on March 22.

Tigers splits series with Cavaliers
The Dripping Springs Tigers baseball team traveled to Lake Travis High School on Friday, April 12, to take on the Cavaliers. The Tigers were trying to sweep the Cavs after winning game 1 on Thursday night with a score of 3-0.
