DRIPPING SPRINGS — The Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees discussed, for the second time, the potential of a health course requirement for high school students to graduate. This comes weeks after the board decided to postpone any action on the item at its Oct. 23 meeting, following a recommendation by the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) to add the requirement beginning with the class of 2028.

Dripping Springs ISD received a superior rating for its financial accountability.

At its Oct. 23 meeting, the Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees decided to postpone any action on a requirement for a health course for high school students to graduate.

At its Oct. 3 meeting, the Dripping Springs City Council approved several proclamations and appointed two individuals to the Dripping Springs Ranch Park (DSRP) Board of Directors.

District announces Taxpayer Tuesday dates

Staff Report DRIPPING SPRINGS — Five Dripping Springs ISD students attended the 2023 Lone Star Leadership Academy, hosted by the nonprofit Education in Action, this summer. Students were nominated by educators to participate based on demonstrated leadership ability, academic success and involvement in school and community activities, according to DSISD.
