The Lehman High School Lobo Color Guard has won a statewide competition, besting 80 other schools in its division. On March 24, Lehman earned the top slot at the 2012 Texas Color Guard Circuit Regional A State Championship with a score of 87.7. “It has been a truly amazing season with a young, but passionate group of students,” said Johnnie Green, Lehman color guard director. Freshmen members make up 70 percent of the Lehman Color Guard which was the only team in the state to score a “Box 5” in general effect, the highest rating for color guard competitions.
