Staff Report DRIPPING SPRINGS — Dripping Springs High School seniors Luke Bohan and William Johns have been named National Merit Semifinalists based on their performances on the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
Staff Report DRIPPING SPRINGS — More than 90 Dripping Springs High School juniors and seniors earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Program for their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 and/or AP exams.

Staff Report DRIPPING SPRINGS — Five Dripping Springs ISD students attended the 2023 Lone Star Leadership Academy, hosted by the nonprofit Education in Action, this summer. Students were nominated by educators to participate based on demonstrated leadership ability, academic success and involvement in school and community activities, according to DSISD.

By Megan Navarro [email protected] DRIPPING SPRINGS — Dripping Springs voters passed a $223.7 million bond to keep up with the district’s growth during the May 6, 2023 election. Voters also decided who would fill the DSISD Board of Trustees positions and whether or not to pass North Hays County Emergency Service District No. 1’s Proposition A.
— Six graduating seniors were named winners of the Hays County Local Health Department (HCLHD) essay competition.
— Three performing groups from the Dripping Springs High School band earned Superior and Excellent ratings at the UIL Region 18 Concert and Sightreading event on March 2829 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in Kyle.
