Dripping Springs High School seniors Luke Bohan and William Johns were selected as National Merit Finalists in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors are recognized with this prestigious honor.

The Dripping Springs Lady Tigers soccer team hosted the Johnson High School Jaguars on Feb. 20 at Tiger Stadium. The final score was Jaguars 2, Tigers 1. The Tigers are currently sixth place in district and the Jaguars are in second place. The Tigers next home game will be March 5, where they will host the Del Valle High School Cardinals.
In Dripping Springs High School’s second year competing in class 6A, the girls swim team of freshman Izzy Boldrick, sophomore Laurel Hoskovec, junior Macie McCurry and senior Anna Hoskovec earned a 14th place finish at the UIL State Swimming and Diving Meet at the University of Texas Swim Center in Austin, held Feb. 23 and 24.

Staff Report DRIPPING SPRINGS — Five Dripping Springs High School studentathletes signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, Feb. 7 to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.
The Dripping Springs High School wrestling team will be well represented at the UIL State Wrestling Championships held Feb.
The Dripping Springs Tigers competed in their first meet of the season on Feb. 8 at the Hawks Relays, hosted by Hays High School.
DRIPPING SPRINGS — The University Interscholastic League (UIL) announced district alignments for football, volleyball and basketball for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years on Thursday, Feb. 1.

DRIPPING SPRINGS — Dripping Springs High School junior Megan Aldridge (Alto 2) was selected to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Treble Choir after placing third at the Area E auditions on Saturday, Jan. 6 in San Antonio.
DRIPPING SPRINGS – Dripping Springs High School competed in the Cavalier Classic boys and girls wrestling tournament hosted by Lake Travis High School on Saturday, Jan. 13. The meet featured varsity and junior varsity participants of schools from Central Texas and beyond.
