By Brittany Kelley BUDA — The Hays CISD Board of Trustees voted 6-1 to adopt a resolution declaring hazardous traffic conditions for several roads throughout the district at its May 20 meeting.

Staff Report HAYS COUNTY — The Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) and Hays County Pet Resource Center (Hays PRC) will host a second drive-up food distribution for people and pets this weekend.

KYLE — The Dacy Lane Realignment and Expansion Project at Sunflower Circle in Kyle is officially complete. Almost three years to the day, dignitaries from Hays County turned out Thursday to celebrate its completion with a ribbon cutting.

HAYS COUNTY — Hays CISD is adding more school resource officers (SRO) to the district.

— In 2022, approximately 12% of Hays County residents were living in poverty, according to census.gov. But one local nonprofit is working to inspire hope by providing resources, education and economic opportunities for underserved children and families.
