The Hays High School girls basketball team traveled to Lockhart High School to take on the Lions on Friday, Dec. 20. The Hawks showed no mercy, beating the Lions 76-23 in the district matchup.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Hays High School boys basketball team hosted the Hyde Park High School Panthers and narrowly pulled out a 51-50 win in the Hawks’ first game of the season.

On Friday, Jan. 5, the Hays Hawks soared over the Rouse High School Raiders in a district matchup with a final score of 76-40. The lady Hawks are 4-1 in district. They will face Liberty Hill, ranked first in district play, at press time on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

On Tuesday, Dec. 12, the Hays Hawks girls basketball team faced the Lockhart Lions in a matchup at home for Parents Night. The Hawks came out victorious with a final score of 58-21.
