Staff report
The Texas Department of Transportation will close the main lanes of Interstate 35 at Yarrington Road for the demolition of the old Yarrington Road bridge.
The closures will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Feb. 7 and will last through Feb. 11.
The I-35 main lanes will be closed in both the northbound and southbound directions. All traffic will be diverted to the frontage roads in both directions during incremental demolition of the old Yarrington Road bridge.
The bridge demolition is planned to occur in four segments – one segment each night, subject to change pending weather and field conditions.
Northbound I-35 traffic will exit at Exit Ramp 210 and utilize the frontage road through the Yarrington Road intersection. Traffic will be able to reenter the northbound I-35 main lanes at the entrance ramp immediately north of Yarrington.
Southbound I-35 traffic will exit at Exit Ramp 210 and utilize the frontage road through the Yarrington Road intersection. Traffic will be able to reenter the I-35 main lanes at the entrance ramp immediately north of the Blanco River.
