UPDATE
Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett said no one was injured after shots were fired from a vehicle in the Waterleaf subdivision Sunday afternoon.
According to Barnett, police are “not sure of what they (the shooter)” were aiming at, but they believe the shots did not hit anything or anyone. Police have not released the description of the vehicle involved.
When officers arrived at the scene in the 100 block of Pomegranate Cove, however, they heard additional gunfire, but did not know where it originated from.
Barnett said it’s believed the second set of gunshots orignated outside of the neighborhood on Heidenreich Lane.
Kyle Police are still investigating the incident.

The Kyle Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Waterleaf subdivision Sunday afternoon.
Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett said the incident happened in the 100 block of Pomegranate Cove around 4 p.m. Sunday. No one was injured in the shooting, Barnett said, and no arrests have been made at this time.
Barnett said other people reported hearing shots somewhere near Abundance Lane.
