The threegame District 26 skid for the Dripping Springs High School varsity softball team began March 11 in a 3-2 loss on the road to Westlake, then on March 12 in an at-home 6-3 loss to Lake Travis and, what one might say was an unexpected 2-0 shutout on March 19 at Del Valle. The Lady Tigers had obviously put the losses in the rearview mirror when they hosted Anderson and won on a run-rule 13-0 shutout on March 22.
Staff Report DRIPPING SPRINGS — Seven Dripping Springs High School speech and debate students qualified for the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) Tournament after competing at the Heart of Texas District Tournament on March 2223 at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville.
DRIPPING SPRING — The Dripping Springs Tigers boys soccer team hosted the Austin High School Maroons on Friday, March 22, where the Tigers finished their season with a record of 5-9-2 for sixth place after a final score of 1-1. The Tigers were playing to determine if they would make it to Bi-District playoffs.
With the total solar eclipse coming in just a little more than three weeks, the city of Dripping Springs and the Community Eclipse Task Force are preparing for the eclipse, and the anticipated influx of visitors, to ensure that all areas of the city are as prepared as possible.
