KYLE — At approximately 1:30 p.m. on April 8, in the western part of Hays County, a total solar eclipse will appear, leaving Kyle residents to experience a 99.8% occlusion.

The Hays County Brown Santa program has started its annual drive for money, food and toys to assist families in need in Hays County.

Staff Report KYLE — An 18-yearold Austin man was arrested on Sept. 8 for several warrants issued by the court, including capital murder, according to Hays County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jeff Jordan. This is Isaac Nathan Arispe’s fifth arrest since 2022.
