A live bat found on the front porch of a Kyle home on Monday has tested positive for rabies.
According to a City of Kyle press release, the bat was found at approximately 7:30 p.m. on the night of September 15. It was found on the front porch of a home in the 100 block of Primrose Boulevard in Kyle.
The bat was found to be positive for rabies after a test conducted by the Department of State Health Services.
