No one was injured after two men robbed a Dripping Springs jewelry store at gunpoint Saturday morning.
Authorities are now searching for the suspects who were caught on surveillance camera during the course of the robbery.
According to a Hays County press release, authorities received a call of an aggravated robbery that had taken place at Vik’s Jewelers, located inn the 500 block of east Highway 290, at approximately 11:31 a.m.
Two black males entered the store and brandished handguns and ordered two employees to raise their hands, according to the release.
One of the suspects attempted to break the glass to one of the jewelry displays, but was unsuccessful.
The second suspect then fired two rounds into the case to gain access to the jewelry. After stealing jewelry out of the case, the two suspects fled the store and left in a dark green or gray Nissan passenger vehicle. The direction of travel is unknown.
One suspect has been identified as a black male with a light complexion who stood 5-feet, 7-inches tall. The first suspect weighed 175 pounds and was wearing light colored jeans, a black sweatshirt, a tan baseball hat and sunglasses.
The second suspect is identified as a black male with a dark complexion who stood 5-feet, 9-inches in height and weighed approximately 175 pounds. The second suspect was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a wide stripe on the sleeves, a camouflage boonie hat and a reflective vest.
