On May 21, Kyle resident Skye Kirshner became the first member from Troop 812, housed at Kyle’s VFW Post 12058, to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.

Kirshner, a Hays CISD senior, was one of 11 total Hays High students who recently earned the Eagle rank, which is the highest rank attained through the Boy Scouts.
