Tigers outlast Lobos in a slugfest

On Friday, April 22, the Tigers hosted the Lobos from Lehman High School. The Tigers opened the game with three runs in the first innings. The Lobos later tied the game with three runs in the 4th inning.

In the bottom of the 4th inning, the Tigers regained the lead with six additional runs and padded their lead with two more runs in the 5th. The Lobos had a late rally in the 7th inning with two runs but Nico Ruedas came in and closed out the game with the final score of Tigers 11 and Lobos 7. 

Senior #25 Brandon Arvidson (Texas A&M Commit) pitched in the 4th inning. Arvidson pitched five innings and allowed six hits, with three runs, seven strikeouts and one walk. The Tigers are currently in 3rd place in district and they have one remaining home game on April 29 at 7 p.m. with Kerrville Tivy.
