QuikTrip armed robbery suspects sought

BUDA — Hays County Sheriff’s Office deputies are requesting assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery in Buda.

On Jan. 31 at approximately 12:12 a.m., two armed subjects entered the QuikTrip Gas Station, located at 1108 Robert S. Light in Buda. They stole money from the establishment while aiming firearms at the store clerk. These firearms appear to be black semi-automatic handguns, according to security cameras.

Suspect 1 was observed wearing grey sweatpants, a black sweatshirt with a “Playboy Logo” on the back and black and white colored slide-on shoes.

Suspect 2 was observed wearing black sweatpants, a dark sweatshirt and possibly Air Force 1-style black shoes.

The suspects involved fled the scene in a darkcolored Suburban, which was later recovered in Austin. It is believed at least three other individuals are involved in the commission of this offense, one of which has been identified as a juvenile.

Those who have information regarding the incident, the identity of the suspects or their whereabouts should contact Detective David Maddocks at 512-749-1186 or [email protected]

Crime Stoppers can be contacted anonymously by calling 1-800-324-8477 from anywhere in the U.S. Information can also be submitted online at P3tips.com.
