A temporary solution is coming for those battling traffic issues associated with construction along Goforth Road near Fuentes Elementary in Kyle as stop signs will be placed at two intersections starting Tuesday morning.
The city of Kyle announced in a post on their website Monday they were placing temporary stop signs at two intersections on Goforth Road to alleviate detoured traffic congestion.
In a press release, the city will place temporary stop signs at the Dacy Lane and Goforth Road and Lehman Road and Goforth Road intersections.
Both intersections will be three-way stops, where all sides will come to a complete stop.
The temporary stops signs are the city’s solution to alleviate detour traffic from construction on Goforth Road, where traffic backups are taking place “primarily during the afternoon high school release time.”
